So I met the most amazing guy on November 27th while I was volunteering at The Festival of Lights, I had hung around him at my school bus stop but had never exchanged words with him until that day.  We hit it off right away; he took me all over the festival, I didn't have any money with me and I was pretty thirsty and hungry, so he bought me a snowcone, a glass bottle of coke, and we shared some cotton candy.  He asked me "So, what would you like to do?" I have been so stressed lately, I haven't been eating as much as I usually do and I'm not getting enough sleep each night, each time I look at my English and Chemistry grades, I freak out! My Chemistry teacher helped me out a little bit with my homework on what we're learning now yesterday. She also helped by telling me that the American education system is f***ed up. That we worry more about the surface than the substance. We all just want to be given straight A's so that we can be happy and make it in this world, but that's not true. What's the point of having straight A's if you don't learn anything that got you that A in the first place.
